Eagleton Ballpark is proud to host youth baseball and softball tournaments, leagues, camps, and clinics. This code of conduct helps protect a positive atmosphere for players, coaches, and spectators every time they visit.

Athlete, Coach, and Spectator Expectations

Respect the game, respect the people around you, and help keep the atmosphere positive.

  • Sportsmanship matters. Eagleton maintains a zero-tolerance policy for unsportsmanlike conduct, and disruptive or abusive behavior may result in removal
  • Treat others with kindness and courtesy, and celebrate all young athletes playing the game
  • Umpires should be treated with respect, with coaches serving as the point of interaction during games
  • Help keep the ballpark clean by using trash receptacles and monitoring your personal belongings
  • Proper attire, including shoes, is required

Field and Dugout Etiquette

Protect the turf and leave the dugout better than you found it.

  • Only turf-approved cleats and athletic shoes are allowed on the fields
  • No candy, sunflower seeds, or gum on the fields
  • No gum or sunflower seeds in the dugouts
  • Use the trash receptacles and keep dugouts clean

Ballpark Rules and Policies

The key policies every visitor should know before arriving.

  • Small to medium personal coolers are permitted
  • Tobacco products, alcohol, and illegal drugs are prohibited anywhere on campus
  • Streaming devices and cameras may not be attached to backstop netting; tripod stands only
  • Pets are not allowed; trained service canines assisting individuals with disabilities are permitted
  • Pop-up tents are allowed when properly weighted and positioned without attaching to fencing or blocking views
  • Outside cooking equipment, firearms, and other weapons are prohibited
  • Attendance at Eagleton events serves as consent for filming and photography for promotional use
  • Skateboards, scooters, wheelies, bikes, hoverboards, and skates are not permitted on campus
